It seems like every day there is a new launch coming out with the latest, greatest slickest affiliate program that promises that proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Of course, they don’t phrase it like that. They write things in their sales copy like “It’s like having an automatic atm machine at your fingertips” or “This business pumps out stacks of cash 24 hours a day, even while you sleep”. Yeah, right. I wish I had a dollar for every time I read that.

The truth is that there is no such affiliate program out there that can deliver on these kinds of promises except to the people who own these programs! Yet, thousands of people apparently think there are and they find themselves hopping from one program to the next in the hope that they just haven’t found the right one yet and the only thing happening to their bank account is that it’s getting smaller and smaller with every affiliate purchase they make.

Some of these affiliate programs might actually be pretty good (many are not) but unless you learn how to Market, Advertise, and Promote these programs then it doesn’t matter how great the programs are.

In other words, you have to learn how to advertise your affiliate business and that’s where most fail.

There are a variety of reasons for this:

  • People don’t have the patience to learn these skills
  • People don’t have the money to invest to learn these skills
  • People are too lazy to learn these skills
  • People don’t even know they need to learn these skills
  • People don’t know where to go to learn these skills

That’s why just buying the next great affiliate program isn’t going to lead you to success.

And it’s why you need to perform your due diligence and make sure you join an affiliate program that will provide all the support you need in order to learn how to Market, Advertise, and Promote that business.

Value Is As Value Does

That’s a bad parody of a line from the movie “Forrest Gump” but I’m trying to make an important point. You’ve seen the types of fancy web pages that intice you with dreams of becoming rich and then when you join them they give you some kind of replicated web site that all their affiliates are given. And then you and those other affiliates are told to go out and get others to join the program and they get the same replicated web site. Then the cycle starts all over again.

Listen! Those types of affiliate programs eventually fizzle out and fall flat. They don’t work.

Why?

Usually because there isn’t really a genuine long term product of value that is offered.

Remember this statement!

If you want to succeed online then you have to offer something of value to your customers.

If you offer something of value to your customers then not only will they be satisfied with you but they are likely to come back and buy from you again.

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

You’ve likely heard that saying before and when it comes to affiliate programs, you do not want to put all your eggs into one income source.

If you decide to start an online business using affiliate programs then you want to find an affiliate business Buy Cipro Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed that utilizes many income streams. The reward s are obvious. You might discover that some income streams work better for you than others. And if one income stream dries up then the impact to your business will be limited. It’s just good business.

So let’s recap the 3 things that you should look for when analyzing an affiliate business opportunity:

  1. Great support
  2. Offers genuine value
  3. Has many income streams

One such affiliate program that I recommend is ACME People Search (APS). Not only does this business have all 3 of these criteria, but is exceeds what is needed .

When it comes to support I’ve found few affiliate programs that offers what APS does.

  • A Support Forum made up of a community of users willing to help
  • LIVE webinars conducted by the owner, Tissa Godavitarne
  • A Ticketing System
  • LIVE Phone Support

When it comes to value, APS offers products in a niche that makes up 30% of all searches done online. And, APS offers what no other large company does that serves the same customer base. APS offers free people search results. The other large companies charge for that information and this gives affiliates of APS a major advantage.

APS also has 12 income streams built into it and more will be added in the future. This allows affiliates a myriad of choices on how they want to earn money online and protects one against the possibility of losing their only income source.

So do your research and check out ACME People Search when you check out those other affiliate programs out there, and remember the 3 criteria that every good affiliate business should contain.

Now that many people’s finances are getting even tighter due to the recession, the idea of making money online is getting even more attractive, and one of the first things many people hear about is something called “affiliate marketing.” While there is a enough information out there to overwhelm most people at first, the basic concept is fairly simple.

Market research is the first step in the process.

First, you must research markets you are interested in. This is your most important starting point, and you can do this by finding out what your potential customers are looking for. This is the essence of “keyword research” – finding the actual words or phrases people type into search engines to find answers to their problems, and you can be sure that if you do not do your research, you will regret it later.

By finding and using keywords that consumers are actively entering into the search engines, you will be able to help your websites and landing pages rank higher, generating a nonstop flood of organic, targeted traffic.

Keyword research doesn’t have to be a difficult task, however. Start with the free Google Keyword Tool, which can be found by searching for “Google keyword tool external,” and enter in a keyword or phrase that identifies the product or niche that you are interested in promoting as an affiliate.

Click on “get keyword ideas” to generate a list of keywords Buy Doxycycline Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed and gauge the competitiveness of the the market by taking a look at the number of times people are searching for your main keywords per month.

What you want to do is find a market with existing demand that also has existing competition and products readily available, but not so competitive that ranking highly is next to impossible.

What’s important here is that you remember there must be an audience for whatever you choose to market. Since you are an affiliate, your costs for entering a market are not very high, but  it’s still a good idea to take the time to do niche research in order to avoid wasting your time.
